A: Install directly from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Search for “DocMerge + FormPublisher” and click “Install”. You’ll need administrator permissions for your Google Workspace.
Q: Do I need special permissions?
A: The add-on requires access to Google Forms, Sheets, and Docs to function properly. All permissions are used solely for document generation and no data is collected or stored outside your Google Workspace.
Q: Can I use this with personal Google accounts?
A: Yes! DocMerge + FormPublisher works with both personal Google accounts and Google Workspace accounts.
Usage & Features

A: You can use any text-based placeholder in your templates. Common formats include:

Q: Can I generate PDFs directly?
A: DocMerge + FormPublisher generates Google Docs files. You can then export these to PDF, Word, or other formats using Google Docs’ built-in export functionality.
Q: Is there a limit to how many documents I can generate?
A: With the lifetime license, there are no limits on document generation. The free trial has limited usage to help you evaluate the product.
Q: Can I use custom templates?
A: Absolutely! Create any Google Docs template with your branding, formatting, and layout. Just include placeholder variables where you want dynamic content.
